Cellular Network (Hand Phone)

1.     Cellular Network
Of course you know what a handphone (HP) is. What are the advantages of HP? Of course one of them is its mobility that enables it to be used anywhere. The mobile communication system is supported by the technology of GPRS and 3G.
GPRS stands for General Packet Radio Service, i.e. sound and data communication that are done by using radio wave. GPRS has the capacity to communicate data and sound when the communication device is mobile.  GPRS has data transfer speed up to 115 kbps, but in practice the data transfer speed is 25-30 kbps.
3G stands for third-generation technology, that is a standard determined by International Telecommunication Union (ITU) to be applied in cellular phone network. The term is commonly used to refer to the development of third generation wireless technology. Via 3G, cellular phone user can have fast access to the Internet up to 384 kbps.
The cellular technology enables you to access the Internet anywhere, as long as you have a computer and a cellular modem equipped with a SIM card. With the technology, you can also use HP to access the Internet.
